Election 2016 and a Voice of Reason

This Facebook post made my day. It says a lot of things that I have been thinking, albeit much more coherently and eloquently.

If it's too long for you to read, here's the most important bit:

Folks, we are literally just weeks away from potentially electing a man who does not seem to understand the consequences of starting a nuclear war.

And here’s the thing. Yes, I’m a Democrat. If John Kasich were the nominee, I wouldn't be voting for him either. But I certainly would not be this terrified. I might disagree with his policies, but at least I'd take comfort in the fact that he respects the Constitution and that his political role models do not include Vladimir Putin and Saddam Hussein. I'd feel at least somewhat confident that he would not want to start World War III over a tweet.

I, personally, am a Hillary supporter and have been for years because her focus issues align closely with my own: education, women and children's health, equal rights.

That being said, I encourage everyone to vote for the candidate who best represents their interests… which is not Donald Trump unless you happen to be Donald Trump, or a member of the Trump family or entourage.
