I don't wanna vote for your president…

Oh, how I love this song. "Tugboat" as performed by Dean and Britta– probably with better sound quality than Galaxie 500 ever had, even filtered through YouTube!

I always took the Luna side vs. Damon and Naomi, so I am totally interested in reading the real skinny behind the G500 split. Indie rock gossip from twenty years ago. I am so very, very old.

    awwww...Luna was my very last show in Athens, GA in the summer of 2002, and the 40 Watt never seemed more enchanting. I have an autographed copy of their Romantica CD to commemorate the evening. Dean even signed my friend's Galaxie 500 Peel Sessions CD and he was so thrilled. My friend, that is. I'm sure Dean was like, ok, whatever.
