her comment: I need it, I want it!! Rye-Pie will need to be potty trained someday and I think this will help it be sooner rather than later.
I've been meaning to write about Boon's new feeding line for a while now. Actually, I mentioned it back in August but that was before the line was available in stores. And before Jasper was remotely able to try them out. I swear, I started him on solids partially because I wanted to try these suckers out…
I'm only partially joking about that. I bought the Squirt baby food dispensing spoon way before Jasper showed any kind of interest in solid foods and kept it at ready. Now it resides in my purse, filled with dry cereal, in case of a baby food emergency. It is both receptacle and feeding implement. Cool. Roo made off with the Snack Ball (she likes to keep her ponytail holders in it) but Jasper is just about ready for the Cheerio stage, so we'll need to get another soon. The BPA-free Fluid sippy cup is appreciated by both kids, although Jasper hasn't totally figured it out yet. He likes to hold it and gnaw on the spout with his tiny, razor-sharp teeth. It seems to be holding up to the abuse well so far!
The Groovy plate with its little hangers-on is pretty great. The interlocking nature of the orange bowls is novel, but they are destined to be separate at our table. Roo likes to use this plate, too. The non-skid bottom will probably become even more useful in a month or two, when Jasper starts to manipulate objects more successfully.
So far, the big winner is the ModWare utensil set. Aside from being shockingly cute, they are easy for little hands to hold and are also apparently fun to chew on.
So you know all about my crush on Boon. Well, they are offering one of my readers the chance to win my all-time favorite kids' product: the Boon Potty Bench! I honestly believe this little hunk of white and green plastic toilet trained Roo. Seriously. Once we got it, she was accident free in under a week. Even overnight. And now I am about to put it away until Jasper is ready for it. I never thought I'd miss a potty!
To enter and win a Boon Potty Bench, please comment on this post with your favorite items from Boon.
Entries will be accepted through April 9th and I'll pick the winner using Random.org. US/Canada readers are eligible. Only one entry/comment per person, please.
