***CONGRATULATIONS, WENDY!!!***

I would like the girl's bright set for my two-year-old daughter.
It's hard to find socks that will stay on babies' feet. Generally, I anchor Jasper's socks on with a pair of shoes because he is a sock monster and can lose them in seconds. He also has two of the chubbiest legs I have ever seen. So chubby, in fact, that he wails in horror if I try to stick him in the Bumbo baby sitter. It pinches his tender thighs. His four year old sister can sit in the thing with no problem. Most socks, especially the cute ones that match outfits at the baby stores, leave terrible welts on his ankles. It makes me feel like a terrible mommy.
Now, socks are a pretty personal garment. Everyone has specific features they prefer in socks– cotton, wool, a bit of stretch, funky patterns, knee-high, ankle-length, tiny pom poms, etc. (As I recall, Donny Osmond was partial to purple socks. Most people get to pick their own socks. But not babies. Maybe that's why they tend to lose them so much.
Well, now they have a better option: Nix All-Star Socks are incredibly cute tube socks for babies and toddlers. They look and feel like their adult counterparts, although actually slightly nicer because of the colors and the lightly-padded footbed. They remind me of hiking socks since they are super soft and spongy and are available in fantastic color combinations. My personal favorite Nix All-Star Socks style is the Girls Bright set:

Nix are technically meant for shoe sizes 2-7, although Roo can wear them and she is somewhere between an 8 and 9 these days. Not that she would deign to be photographed wearing her brother's socks. They're BOY colors! You know, the charcoal grey or brown might stain her feet or something…
Jasper, on the other hand, loves his Nix All-Star Socks. They pull all the way up to his knees without pinching or binding. Remarkably, they stay on, even without shoes. They would be a great winter alternative for parents who are hooked on those baby legwarmers but don't want their kids getting frostbitten toes. And did I mention how cute they are?

To enter and win a set (2 pairs) of Nix All-Star Socks (a $16 value!), please comment on this post with your favorite sock colors and who you'd like to see wearing them!
