Doors to Make-Believe

Kidtropolis creates amazing fantasy room decor for kids. They merge the whimsical with the functional to create playspaces and living areas that embody the spirit of childhood. I usually don't like themed decor but the craftsmanship of Kidtropolis is hard to fault. The practicality of the built-in storage hidden behind faux building blocks is just inspiring:

My favorite Kidtropolis feature, and one that I can see working in most homes– unlike a massive treehouse or pumpkin carriage– is the custom Kidtropolis Kidsdoor. Available in two basic styles (the classic with a rounded top and the modern with more of a geometric mission look), these dutch doors can be customized to suit any decor.

Hey! This one matches my blog!

Prices range from $690-$990. Ouch.

If only I had the budget… I'd want one in every room!

  2. Those are too cute! Alas, not in the budget. I just bought some reusable vinyl wall designs from Blik. I'll post pictures soon. It was easy, fun and we can mix it up whenever we get bored.
