I was recently sent on a mission to shop at Walmart for Frank's RedHot Sauce and come up with an original recipe using a Hamilton Beach slow cooker. I was intrigued by the variety of flavors available, so I thought I would use one of the less-familiar ones: Frank's RedHot Sweet Chili Sauce. It's actually very similar to the spring roll sauce we buy at the Asian market, sweet and tangy with a bit of a kick, but in a bottle that has a date stamp from this century. Small comforts really do matter. Anyway, I thought I would try and make a slow cooker version of a chicken satay. You can see how it went here:
Added 1/7: a pizza made with Frank's RedHot Sweet Chili Sauce and the leftover slow cooker peanut chicken. Delicious!

That recipe sounds great! I could see it used inside won ton wrappers and baked or fried too, as an appetizer.
