TCM 31 Days of Oscar: Arthur Giveaway

31 days, oscar, tcm

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is in the midst of its annual 31 DAYS OF OSCAR festival. This year's event will feature more than 340 Academy Award-nominated and winning movies, scheduled in trivia-inspired marathons. Every night in February (through March 3, actually), a Best Picture Oscar winner will be shown at 10 p.m. ET.

The 2010 Academy Awards will be presented live on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center and televised live by the ABC Television Network in more than 200 countries worldwide.

On Monday, February 28th, they'll be showing Arthur, the Best Picture winner from 1981 starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli. To share in the Oscar excitement, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is offering a special giveaway to Superdumb Supervillain readers.

To enter and win one of two copies of Arthur, please comment on this post with the answer to this question: How did the movie end?

Entries will be accepted through March 3rd and I'll pick the winner using Random.org. US readers are eligible.

  1. Arthur is willing to give up his fortune to marry Linda. His grandmother will not allow that...he gets the girl AND the money and a drive through Central Park.

  2. At the altar on their wedding day, Arthur turned down Susan Johnson and he was willing to give up his fortune to marry Linda (a waitress played by Liza Minelli). Then they left the church and took a ride in Arthur's chauffeured Rolls Royce driven by Bitterman the driver.
