No Text on Board Pledge Day is Wednesday

More than 100,000 people a year are injured or killed in accidents when a driver is texting and driving. Drivers are 23 times more likely to be in an accident when they’re texting.

Nothing is so important that you have to text while driving. Nothing

This Wednesday, September 19th, let the world know that you have your priorities straight and sign the No Text on Board pledge at www.ItCanWait.com. Watch this 10-minute documentary titled "The Last Text"  produced by AT&T to see different ways that texting and driving has had a lasting adverse impact on the lives of real people.

Stay safe and spread the word. Take the No Text on Board pledge today and share the message with your friends, family, and followers using #itcanwait and tag @ATT. You can even add an online banner to your profile picture on Twitter and/or Facebook. Just follow the easy on-screen instructions at www.twibbon.com/itcanwait. If you use a BlackBerry or Android phone, you can download the DriveMode app– more platforms will be available soon.

Texting while driving is as dangerous and unacceptable as drinking and driving. Keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

  1. Fortunately my kids are sticklers on this issue so I don't have to worry about them doing it. They won't even answer a phone call. I'll do that, but I won't text. It's just not worth it.
