We spent our Labor Day in girly heaven, with a Crafting Party. Roo got to invite a bunch of her friends over to make Fashion Headbands, Fashion Bracelets, Pop-Art Necklaces and Stuck on Fashion Tote Bags with kits supplied by Creativity for Kids. Look at this bonanza, in:
We've given and received various kits from this company often over the years, so I knew that this would be a lot of fun. Between them, the girls had owned most of these kits already, so they taught each other how to make everything. Not that the instructions are complicated- the kits contain all of the necessary supplies, plus easy guidelines and hints, but it was nice to just open all the boxes and set the girls loose!
I really liked the bracelet kit, especially with the on-trend yarn wrapping. The girls loved using the included double-stick tape to apply rhinestone trim.
The girls even figured out a way to use stickers to deal with a pesky younger brother!
I highly recommend keeping a couple of these kits in your rainy day arsenal or birthday present stash. They're inexpensive, a lot of fun and create things your kids will actually want to keep- not just throwaway busywork.
In accordance to the FTC Guidelines and the WOMMA Code of Ethics, I am disclosing that I received a copy of the video to facilitate this review and the prizes are being provided by MommyParties and Faber-Castell. I also received some wine and goodies to participate in the Twitter party. If you click the links and buy anything, I will earn a few coins. As usual, all opinions are my own.
I'm not sure there's a girl alive who wouldn't enjoy those kits. So much fun!
