Ghost Zip - A New Twist for Your Favorite Bag

Everyone needs a good bag but it's hard to find one that blends form and function well. Most bags are too utilitarian and dull or overly fancy. Fun bags are usually silly or totally impractical.

Italian accessories brand GhostZip, now available in the US, has created a line of bags that are hand-fashioned out of ordinary zippers. They're charming, witty and entirely useful. And they come looking like a pile of scraps:


Roo was immediately intrigued and wanted to be the one to zip it up:

Finally, we were presented with a very sophisticated mid-sized shoulder bag. Eminently presentable and also very sturdy. You could haul a couple of dictionaries in this bag, if need be!

Ghostzip USA offers a wide selection of handbag styles from tiny wristlets to gigantic beach totes (I want one!), as well as jewelry and even beanbag pouf chairs— all made out of zippers.
