All You Do To Me Is Talk Talk

***WINNER PICKED 7/31 WITH RANDOM.ORG***

***CONGRATULATIONS, Kari!!!***

her comment... Family talk is my choice!

Grandparent Talk is a novel concept– a series of question cards clipped together on a carabiner that acts as a conversation starter. We tried it out on our recent 4th of July road trip and it was interesting if a little bit old for Roo and Jasper. (Being able to read the questions would probably help the continuity of the game!)

Any of the Around the Table games (Family Talk, Family Talk 2 or Grandparent Talk) would be fun for road trips, reunions or even at non-family parties as an ice-breaker. They also come in a jar format, should you desire to leave them out on the table.

***Superdumb Supervillain Bonus***
Get free shipping on any Around the Table games purchase by entering code "SDSVFMT" at checkout.

To enter and win your own Around the Table game, please comment on this post with which carabiner set you prefer (Family Talk, Family Talk 2 or Grandparent Talk). Just for kicks, let me know what question you would ask and which family member you would direct it towards!

Entries will be accepted through July 30th and I'll pick the winner using Random.org. US/Canada readers are eligible. Only one entry/comment per person, please.

Make sure you leave an email address in your comment or that you have one accessible on your blog so you can be contacted if you win! Or, you may choose to check for your nickname at Prizey.Fetch, a site that compiles winners in one convenient place:

  1. Family Talk is my choice.

I'd ask the youngest boy if he ever lied to my brother when he lived with him. I'm sure I know the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I would ask what three objects you would take with you if you knew you couldn't come home again.

  3. I think this game looks like so much fun! One time I read a book with Emil that asked very important questions like this and I remember one in particular. I would ask this question and see if his response has changed with "maturity".

"For $500, would you pull the wings off of a butterfly?" "For $1000?" and so on... When he was around 5, his response was yes, sold at $500. I wonder if it's changed... with inflation?

    Thanks for the chance!

  5. I would like the original family talk. It sounds like a lot of fun!

I would honestly love to ask my 11 year old if she likes boys yet or not. I know that is an embarrsing question for her but my husband and I are dying to know the answer. We know some of her friends are getting into boys and we wanted to see if we could get a "heads up" just in case she is too so we can prepare ourselves.

I'd also like to ask my son what else HE thinks WE can do to help motivate him to apply himself and do better in school.
