A Gift That Keeps On Giving

The best gift I received this holiday season: I am a part of The Graco Nation Ambassador program, which is cool enough already, but I just found out that in lieu of festive tchotkes this year, Graco has donated ten car seats for each of their 41 Ambassadors to organizations helping communities in need.

Which means 410 car seats will be given to families that might not otherwise be able to afford to safely strap their kiddos in. My ten seats were donated in my name to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, which is kind of nice because my stepfather went to medical school in Philly. What a great way to honor the holidays. Thank you, Graco!

Check out Graco's INVALUABLE Ready for the Road Ahead site to help you find your perfect car seat… And install it properly.

  1. That is so awesome! I used all Graco products when my guys were little and after reading this, I am very glad I did.

  2. Makes you feel good, hnh? That really is very nice of them and it works out good for everyone!

  3. That's wonderful, and I didn't know you were a Graco Ambassador.

Glad to see it went to CHOP (horrible acronym, I know, for a kids hospital). I was just leafing through Parent's magazine and saw that it was the #1 kids hospital, which makes me glad that it's close by. Anyway, that was quite off the topic. Thanks for sharing that info Naomi.
