Fall is in the Air

Fall is my favorite season. I love the chill in the air and being able to wear layers. Yes, I realize that it's still 75ยบ here in central Kansas but I have dreams of jackets and tall boots and scarves…

I've just discovered Ibex Outdoor clothing and have fallen in love. They're committed to making quality sportswear, primarily with all natural wool, and feature an impressive lifetime warranty on all of their products– they call it the Ibex Promise. When you think of woolen clothing, you might think they're bulky or heavy, but Ibex styles look sleek and incredibly wearable. Designed for maximum mobility, since the company was founded by a cross-country skier.

I am coveting the Merino Kurta, a cowl-necked tunic that I could see dressed up or down from Fall through Spring. I'd wear it with some striped tights and tall boots or with jeans and a waffle weave longjohn top underneath.

I am also crazy about the Indie dress, which is the fancy equivalent of your favorite hoody. It's great in the charcoal/heather combo but it shines in the royal purple color:

Ibex also makes undergarments with a blend of superfine merino wool and a touch of spandex for stretch. The Balance Seamless collection comprises inner layers for men and women. I am curious to try the sports bra made of wool!

Bob is even pickier about his clothing than I am but I suspect he would love Ibex's balance of sleek styling and practicality. Their muted color palette already matches most of his wardrobe! Plus I think he'd look cute in the Seamless Balance Boxer Shorts.

  1. all clothes look l=nice and comfy. I also want to do some shopping to get more season appropriate clothes now that my baby bump's starting to get bigger

  2. I like the idea of a hoodie dress - comfy, casual, and easy peasy. It's not exactly "nursing-friendly," however, so I won't be wearing something like that anytime soon. ;)
