Invisible jets might be de riguer for superheroines but Roo felt it was her responsibility to make a carseat for Mona. Five year olds know best!
One of our favorite destinations is the Great Plains Nature Center. It gives you a glimpse of what Wichita was like, before the onslaught of suburban sprawl. This little bit of prairie is actually just across a busy road from the Home Depot but you would never know it from the peaceful trails…
Proof that Mona went a little wild in Wichita!
Thanks for visiting, Mona! We hope to see you again soon.

ReplyDeleteI'm following Mona to all her stops this week. That girl gets around.
ReplyDeleteThat Nature Preserve looks so cool. Is it close enough for you to visit often? I also love how you listed all of the participants all week. LOVEd this!
ReplyDeleteAwwww I like pre suburban Wichita! Down home, that's what that is!
ReplyDeleteThe line, "right across from the Home Depot" totally made me laugh. Ah, I suppose even the prairie is not immune to the influences of Corporate America.
ReplyDeleteAdored your post. Thanks a ton for playing along. Oh, and a special thank you to Roo for ensuring that Mona enjoyed a safe journey! :)
I think Mona had a grand time!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see lovely Mona enjoying the simple things in life. Did the ducks and turtles look at her like she was nuts? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek at Wichita!
ReplyDeleteI love sunflowers! Looks like MOna had a nice, relaxing stay.
ReplyDeleteMona, Mona, Mona. Mona in Wichita. I hear there's a Wichita movie comin out soon. I guess Wichita is finally getting the praise it so deserves. What an exciting place to live.
