LittleMissMatched No-Show Summer Sock Style
I grew up mostly barefoot. Not due to poverty or anything like that, it's just the way things are in Hawaii. We wore mostly plain rubber zori or rainbow-soled kamaboko slippers. If we were feeling fancy, we'd rock the patent leather Clark Chang's. Even when I was wearing haole shoes, like my beloved Bass Weejuns, it was without socks. I don't remember this ever being an issue with stinky feet but now that I have kids of my own, I'm a total sock advocate, much to Roo and Jasper's annoyance.
I'm a huge fan of littlemissmatched's crazy aesthetic and was thrilled to see their new line of no-show socks for summer. I'm seeing this as an opportunity to keep the tween smell at a minimum, while allowing for some fun style. Imagine the cuteness of the colorful mary jane sock straps poking out of your favorite skimmers! And the open-toe socklets look like a must for keeping the balls of my feet comfy for belly dance class.
