Happy National S’mores Day!

Did you know today is National S'mores Day? I had no idea until the kind folks at Emmi of Switzerland told me. They had an ulterior motive– promoting their Emmi's Swiss Chocolate Fondue. I know we all think of s'mores as an outdoorsy tradition but how brilliant is it to bring them indoors, around your dinner table? Love it.



 Tips for fondue s'mores:
  • Use Emmi's Swiss Chocolate Fondue that's ready to heat and serve right out of the package
  • Experiment with the basic 3-ingredient recipe with modifications like:
    • Add in peanut butter and bananas
    • Stack juicy fruit slices on top of marshmallows
    • Even add savory, smoky flavors like half a slice of bacon to kick s'mores up 

Roo suggests having cooked bacon on hand as a dipping vessel. Her s'mores are more like BMCs- bacon-marshmallow-chocolate! Jasper prefers pretzel rods to graham crackers.
