I love words. Always have, always will. It makes sense that my all-time favorite board game is Scrabble. One of the first things I bought when I moved out of the house for college was my own deluxe travel edition of Scrabble. I still have it.

I'm thrilled that Jasper is learning to read so we'll be able to play Scrabble as a family. Although I know I would crush the competition… ha! I'm only slightly joking– Scrabble is the one game I am remotely competitive at. I've even played Scrabble with Pavement. And won.

Did you know that School Scrabble Clubs have been active for twenty years? Geez, if they had existed when I was a kid, I might have lettered. As it was, I lettered in Newspaper. How geeky is that?
