New Prank Packs for Disguising Your Cyber Monday Goodies

Remember when I told you about Prank Packs, the most excellent wrapping option, ever?

Well, today they've released three brand new designs and they are pretty darned hilarious:

Imagine the delight of your giftee when they discover a NapSack, Sizzl or the Turn & Churn under the tree… ah, priceless.

You can order Prank Packs online or look for them at a "fine" retailer like you, like Walmart.

Prank Pack - Giving the Giggles

What happens when four staffers from The Onion start a product company? You get Prank Pack, a gift box that will make everyone on your holiday list think you're regifting from the greatest office Secret Santa list, ever.

Each Prank Pack is designed to elicit squeals of confusion and disappointment. The faux products they show seem *almost* shelf-ready, so your giftee will think you took the time to order something special you saw on late-night TV. My personal favorite is the Crib Dribbler, which is essentially the human baby equivalent of a hamster feeder:

Imagine the fake smiles and thank yous this one will elicit at baby showers! Helicopter parents will not get the joke until they open the box and realize they've been Pranked! Genius. We also received the iArm forearm device mount, the automated Pet Petter ("Never touch your pets again!") and the the Obe'ir Bathe & Brew shower coffee maker. Finally, something to make you look forward to gift giving again!

Rumor has it that you will see Prank Pack displays in Walmarts this holiday season. They might look a little like this:

It should be noted that along with the excellent selection of Prank Packs, I received some Someecards goodies, including some lovely greeting cards ("Sorry you're feeling like such a pussy.") and handy pint glasses like this one:

I'm not clear on the particulars but my internet stalking leads me to believe the companies are related, under the 30Watt masthead. Those funny folks always stick together. And oddly, out of spitball distance…

SuperMoms Web Series

I'm a bit perturbed I wasn't asked to be in this web series. No, not really, although I do have a sick desire to be animated in a unitard. (I have already been drawn by world famous cartoonists, just not in full, dynamic motion.) All kidding aside, ignore the fact that show is a thinly-veiled long-format Clorox ad and just enjoy it for what it is: the story of four moms who moonlight as superheroes united against their arch-enemy, Dr. Deconstructo. I hope he's a good supervillain…
The first episode of SuperMoms premieres January 17th on Facebook. And, yes, that is the girl from Chasing Amy.

Grrrr, cougars!

Probably my most favorite 30 Rock episode, ever. Probably because I'm closer to 40 than 30 at this point. Ugh.

Twee for you.

You must click on Twisted Twee immediately.

Oh my god. I am so in love with everything on this site. Take a look, these are just my top six:

1. For when you want to go all Shakespeare on the kid's butt.

2. Important for playgroups. You can pretend it's ironic.

3. Baby's first merit badges!

4. Daddy/baby perfect matchy-match set! (My baby's daddy likes his Newcastle and hopefully Jasper will be having some Boddington's-fortified mommy milk sometime soon.)

5. I never could master the tassel twirl, so maybe Roo can learn early…

6. Really, really great, especially if you get the kid to play along.
