G-r-r-eat!

We've been on a cereal kick lately. We received a sample of a new version of an old favorite: Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Gold It updates the classic with whole grains baked in honey– 10 g in each serving. They were as tasty as I remembered but even crunchier… plus, they stay crispy in milk much longer, which is a bonus for Roo who takes like two hours to eat breakfast.

As part of their committment to helping kids get healthier, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes has also started a program calledEarn Your Stripes to encourage active play. Through this program, Kellogg's sponsors organizations like Girls on the Run (a non-profit prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running), AYSO (The American Youth Soccer Organization), and Little League Baseball. Interestingly, even their website is designed to help kids get more activity in their daily lives. While I was browsing the site and writing this post, a screen popped up and told me to turn off the computer and go do something else for a while!
