The Little Things
Jasper has strep, just like his daddy. We went and got a culture today and it was positive. (Roo and I are still healthy so far, knock on wood.) So while we were loitering at Target waiting to fill his prescription, I bought a new dishrack. It's big and shiny and folds up flat. The drain tray is deep and practically-designed. It's one of those Michael Graves things that look like they're trying too hard to be Alessi but are surprisingly decent quality. And I love it*.
How sad is it that I get excited over such a thing? I am so old and lame.
Just thought you should know.
*Aside from its lack of a utensil cup. Who dries cutlery flat?! Well, I suppose I do, for now…

I'm like you, I get excited over a new sponge.
ReplyDeleteBut really, a dishrack is important since we spend so much time using it.
I got one similar and didn't think until I got home...where's the utensil cup? It seems in vogue for things that were normally sold as a set to now be "sold separately".
HEY! I must not be the only person on earth without a dishwasher?
Anyway. Congratulations on your new dishrack! May you now rest easier.
Not sad at all! We don't have a dishwasher (unless that's what you call me) and so I love dish racks!! And I hope your boys are better soon!

Hey, I get high on the smell of freshly sharpened pencils and new books. So who is the lamest? We should have a lame-off and list our lamest features and then have people vote.
