I like the Eastover Chocolate Blue Bundle.

Certain baby things make me want to have another kid immediately. Take, for example, the entire product line offered by the Büti Bäg Co. The items they make are so well-conceived that it is obvious a mother designed them through trial and error! Nicole Williams founded Büti Bäg (pronounced "booty bag") when she discovered the limited options available to new parents seeking functional baby gear. She wanted to make something that was not only cute and practical for newborns, but would also be useful beyond infancy.



The first product Nicole introduced was the Bûndle, an adorable catch-all for your baby's gear that rolls up into a little bundle with a convenient (and dainty!) handle. It is ideal for supplies when baby is still in diapers, on-the-go essentials for older tots, and toiletries for grown-ups. The Bûndle is available in a variety of luxurious and rather sophisticated fabrics and colors so parents don't need to sacrifice their own sense of style. I love my Cotswold Bûndle's multiple pockets and vibrant green lining. The detachable handle also lets you hang it from stroller handles, doorknobs, suitcases, etc., for easy access.



We also received one of Büti Bäg's sumptuous shopping cart covers, the Bi-ō-pad. Now, I must preface my comments by saying that my husband and I have long made fun of shopping cart covers and the parents who diligently tote them around to protect their kids from the germy world around us. They are usually hideous, floppy blobs of quiltiness that scream "I am paranoid!" At least, that's what I used to think. The Carolina Chocolate Bi-ō-pad we received made me swoon as soon as I unwrapped it. The pale blue minky plush is cuddly soft and the whole thing folds up to a very reasonable size, not much bigger than a burp cloth or swaddling blanket in your diaper bag. Nicole has tailored it so the Bi-ō-pad is not overly baggy or puffy and it has proprietary flaps that cover the leg holes so it may be used as a blanket or changing mat, as well as a cart or highchair cover.



Much to my chagrin, Jasper is too old and fidgety for the Bi-ō-pad. I wish I'd found it when he was younger and sweeter and less grabby. Roo could have used it for years without messing with the velcro, but Jasper is a destructive force of nature. See how he ripped it off of the handle?! So I sent it to Kathleen from Katydid & Kid for her adorable SoJo in the hopes that he could use it. Which, apparently, he does. And adorably, too! If you have a little fashionista, you should really check out the gorgeous animal print Bi-ō-pad models. They are super swanky.



The last Büti Bäg item I tried is the Pod. It is one of those simple-but-brilliant concepts that seem like they should have been invented years ago. The Pod is a heavyweight vinyl pouch with a center zipper perfect for dispensing wipes. It's phthalate-free and refillable for less environmental impact, plus its slim design makes it easy to fit almost anywhere.
