Happy Turkey Day!

I am thankful for Roo's preschool teachers for giving her the impetus to create such fabulous keepsakes. And for taking dictation…

All kidding aside, today I am thankful that Jasper's 103ยบ fever broke and that he is one week off the breast. Good job, big boy! I'm also thankful that both kids are mostly healthy and mostly happy and that Bob's show in Chicago looks so great. (The work for the Wichita show at CityArts next Friday, Dec. 5th, looks even better! You should go!!!) And that Bob's dealing with the turkey today. Roo and I baked a turkey-shaped almond cake this morning and I'm on stuffing and potato detail closer to T-time.

I know I haven't gotten back up to speed since our Chicago trip last week, but I'll be announcing my Tea Party winners and starting a series of new giveaways very soon, please stay tuned! Lots of great holiday gift giving ideas to check out.

From my family to yours, have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  1. Oh that Roo and her sweet little observations. I particularly liked that your mom bought her a wallet but you paid for it! And I love that her favorite thing to do is experiment with apples. You're going to have your very own Miss Roo Newton to discover gravity!

Happy Thanksgiving Naomi! Hope your turkey and stuffing are yummy.

  3. That is a GREAT keepsake! It must've taken them a long time to do that with all the kids.
