Say Boo to the Flu

Mom Central wanted me to let you know about about Families Fighting Flu, a non-profit organization made up of parents who have lost a child to the flu, and their new Say "Boo!" to the Flu initiative which seeks to help educate families about the importance of flu prevention. As part of the program, The Visiting Nurse Associations of America will be hosting many flu vaccination events around the country. The third program partner is The Clorox Company, which makes many products that help to prevent the dissemination of flu germs.



Jasper and Roo have already had their flu vaccinations (Jasper had a shot, Roo endorses the nasal spray) and I hope that they will stay moderately healthy all winter. Visit the Say "Boo!" to the Flu website for helpful hints about staying healthy and avoiding the flu this season.
