We're a Pampers family. Sure, the birth center where both of my kids was born doled out the big H diapers, but once we went through the initial supply (I should say once we leaked through, since for some reason they just didn't fit my kids right and gapped either at the leg or the back), we were back on the Pampers train and we've never gotten off. I made an effort to use cloth when Jasper was born but that sort of fizzled out when he was in NICU.
Anyway, Pampers have been pretty good for us, from size N-4 which is what Roo was using when she potty trained. (Her massive little brother has been wearing size 4 for like six months already!) Early on I noticed she had a reaction to regular wipes so I have been using Pampers Sensitive Wipes for over four years now. They are very gentle although they are made with cotton so they are also quite strong. We use them for butt, faces, spills, everything. Now Pampers is introducing a line of gentle, hypoallergenic diapers, too. Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive are ultra-breathable with an Absorb-Away liner and special color-changing wetness indicator on the front. I only wish that they offered a sensitive version of Pampers Cruisers, since that is what Jasper wears. Or Easy Ups, which I expect him to be starting soon, since he's so wiggly…He has been getting allergic reactions on his hips lately, so a hypoallergenic diaper would be great.

I haven't had much diapering experience, but plan to get a lot of experience in the next few years. My cousin is having a baby soon, and so are my friends. This would really help them out.
ReplyDeleteThanks
I hd to comment, I do not need diapers, but if for some odd chance I won, they would promptly be donated to a woman's shelter.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I wanted to say I always preferred pampers. All 3 of my babies spent long periods in the NICU and Pampers was very good to us, especially when I birthed twins. BTW< I am not affiliated with Pampers, I just am a very happy customer. :)

I love swaddlers! The best thing about the PS Sensitive is the cool stripe on them that changes color when they are wet.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I tried the H brand, but the little guy kept peeing out of them! I say woo-hoo to keeping the urine where it's supposed to be... you know, not on our shirts! : )
I'm not sure I understand the question...trouble with keys?! Anyways, I'm expecting in Feb so Pampers will come in handy!

I hope to need diapers soon, if not I have plenty of pals with new babies/ babies on the way. One friend has asked for diapers for a shower gift.
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to the RSS feed
ReplyDeleteI am unsure as to what you are looking for us to comment on as well...keys? Just the same, I would love to be entered, as I am due the beginning of March and I have heard that Pampers are the "cadillac" of diapers nowadays. Thanks for the giveaway.

My girls are out of diapers thankfully, do not miss that! My daughters teacher is pregnant though, so I am getting baby stuff together for a gift basket for her!
ReplyDeleteI found with my girls, my youngest was very slim & Huggies fit her best. My youngest was on the chunky side & Pampers worked best for her.
For us Pampers and Huggies have worked equally well. I'm still questing for an off-brand diaper that holds its own - Pampers and Huggies are both too rich for my blood. Luvs and the Target brand both leak, which is so disappointing.
ReplyDeleteWe use Pampers too. But Baby Dry instead of Cruisers..the Cruisers leave white fluff all over my son's bum. We've tried store brand diapers but they always leak...although store brands worked perfectly for my daughter. *shrug* As for wipes, I have to switch teams and go with Huggies Supreme. They're nice and thick...perfect for toddler sized...uh...messes :-)

I would love to win this prize. I have 2 babies in diapers right now and good diapers are quite expensive, especially when x2.
ReplyDeleteI love Pampers, I believe it is a trusted name and they have wonderful quality. I have used Pampers faithfully on all 4 of my children and love the job they do.
xbeth@yahoo.com
I love the Pampers Swaddlers. It is what we started using with our daughter right after she was born. They seem softer than the other brands which makes me feel good about using them.
ReplyDeleteBoth of my boys are in Pampers, my oldes in size 4 Cruisers and my youngest in size 2 Swaddlers. Needless to say I am feeling the pinch of having two in diapers. I've always used Pampers, too. I tried the big H and some other diapers and they leaked. I also the love the liner that is in these diapers. (Reminds me a bit of Always pads). Thanks so much for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWe love pampers and my daughter is only 17 months old so we will be using some more diapers in the future! You can never have enough diapers, right? Thanks for the great giveaway!

We are a Pampers family too. They just seem to work best for my little one.
ReplyDeleteThis would be so great for my daughter who is expecting her fourth in February. She could use all the help she can get and has used Pampers for all her babies. She hasn't had a chance to try the swaddlers since they weren't around when her others were little but always used baby dry. (This last baby was a surprise!)
ReplyDeleteI tried cloth diapers a few times but it just seemed so labor-intensive! Disposables were just right for us.
ReplyDeletekatiekarr at gmail dot com
I do not have a ton of diaper experience as of yet, but I would like to win this for my sister who has two little ones. I don't know a lot about diapers, but I DO know that they are expensive! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am now down to only 1 in diapers! We are also a Pampers family.

ReplyDeletePampers rock our world! We, too, have been around the block with different diaper brands. I (heart) pampers.c
ReplyDeleteMy son can wear Huggies Baby Dry or the Pampers Cruisers but cannot wear Huggies Supreme or Pampers Baby Dry, kids are funny that way. We could use these badly....who doesn't need help buying diapers when you have a baby in them!! Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletemandee220(at)aol(dot)com
Well when there is a baby in the house you are on Dipaer Duty 24/7!
ReplyDeleteLove to win thisw for my brandbaby to be
Im an email subscriber
ReplyDeleteBoth of my children haven't had any problems with any brand of diapers so I'm a lucky mama who just buys whatever is on sale! My 9 month old has been sick the last few days and has been blowing out of every single diaper! Has not been fun.
ReplyDeleteWe love Pampers; they've been great for our son. We started putting him in one size up at night and that really helped!!
ReplyDeleteright now, my ottlder runs to someone or hides in a corner and strains to poop and comes crying "poo poo" and says it's "big". nice....
ReplyDeleteMy son is almost 5 so we've been out of diapers for over 2 years now but I'm expecting baby #2 in less than 5 weeks so Pampers here we come! We only used Pampers swaddlers with my son and that's what I've been stocking up on in preparation for baby #2...could always use more, FREE EVEN BETTER, diapers!!!
ReplyDeletegratefulsoul at hotmail.com
I use cloth, but have so many pregnant friends and I'd like to share this with one of them.
ReplyDeleteMy 4-mo poops out of everything but Pampers - we need these! :)
ReplyDeleteOh thanks for this chance...my son is 15 months old! Pampers are DEFINATELY my diaper of choice! We tried huggies a few times and he pees right out of them!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for diaper stories...for about a month EVERY time hubby would change his diaper..Evan would tinkle....LOL...right on hubby!
Thanks for the chance!
I have had a lot of experience in this venue. I am the oldest of 7 and I have 13 nieces and nephews with # 14 on the way. I am the called upon sitter and well it is always nice to have an "extra" available for the unforseen time.
ReplyDeleteI love Pampers Swaddlers! When my kids were newborns, they were the only diapers that seemed to control the mess and they are so soft. Plus, they rarely, if ever, come undone. I'm excited to hear that there is a sensitive version coming, as I'm having my third in February!
ReplyDeleteksrutledge at hotmail dot com
Oh I have stories. I have a 4.5 year old and twin babies and we go through diapers. We have also had problems with finding a diaper that fits correctly and won't leak. We've had many "blowouts" and go through a lot of diapers. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeletethepettysbc +at+ aol.+com+
My sis-in-law and brother will soon have 2 in diapers, so this prize would be great for them!
ReplyDeletepenguinchick@comcast.net
Oh, diapering; the downside of parenting. I like that Pampers help to keep the leaks at bay. DH doesn't nderstand why I will send him back to the store if he buys the other brand! My little girl has just figured out how to remove her diaper, which makes for some fun moments, like as she walks through the house carrying her diaper announcing, "Mama. Poo poo!" I never knew I could move so fast!
ReplyDeletebeccaj73{at}hickorytech[dot]net
Both of the hospitals I delivered at gave us Pampers, which I love, but I can't justify the extra expense over Luvs that perform just as well, unless I can find a terrific sale. ;)
ReplyDeleteHuggies just weren't my pick either, they didn't fit my daughter well.
hematopoiesis at hotmail dot com
I have always used Pampers or Huggies on my kids. All the other brands leak which sucks. Pampers are my first choice because they aren't bulky like Huggies diapers. My youngest boy is 16 months and still wears diapers, so winning this would be great. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with many that both Huggies and Papmpers work the best- However I have found that Papmpers are MUCH SOFTER than Huggies! Thanks for the AWEsome Give-oh-way!!
ReplyDeleteI love Pampers and wish I could afford to use them - I've found that they held the most, the best and had the best feel as well.
ReplyDeleteI frequently babysit for my grandsons and boy do they poop a lot.
ReplyDeleteI have a 3 week old - our first baby! She's becoming a professional pooper- wowie... Yesterday it was clear past the belly button. Maybe I need to move up to the next size of diapers? So, this coupon would be very helpful :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a particular diaper duty story, but I wanted to mention how my husband reacts to changing diapers. In 2.5 years of changing 2 little ones diapers, my husband has only changed 1 poopy diaper. He always gags if he sees the kid's poop or spit-up. I feel bad for him, but I also think it's funny, since he is always such a tough guy and a firefighter. He'll be getting a lot more experience soon, though, because I'll be leaving for 10 days. :-)
ReplyDeletekhmorgan_00 [at] yahoo [dot] com
I love Pampers. We've tried all different kinds too, including the 'H' diapers. The worst diaper story would have to be when my son was a newborn he pee'd on his newly painted *white* wall, ..it was pretty gross, but taught me to cover up that 'area' while getting the diaper ready! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have one child who's out of diapers, and one who's resistant to potty training -- but hopefully she'll be out of them soon! It still hurts the purse to buy diapers!
ReplyDeleteMegret
musesofmegret (at) gmail (dot) com
I've changed wayyyy too many diapers ;)
ReplyDeletefaved on technorati :)
ReplyDeleteWe have had many many blow-outs! And I am sure I have many more to come. We could really use these.
ReplyDeletelivlifelov at yahoo dot com
My son is 11 months and lately diaper changing resembles a WWF Smackdown. I am contantly trying to find something to distract him from squirming around and flipping over!

I've loved Pampers with each of my newborns - they just seem to be the softest with the best fit for those little tiny ones. We have baby #3 on the way, so there will be lots of diapering to come. I can't wait to try the Pampers Sensitive diapers.
ReplyDeletebeezerly (at) yahoo dot com
Oh yes, after 3 babies, Pampers were our favorite too. Of course, it took a lot of trial and error to get there...
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the diapers for my niece who is expecting her first baby in April.
our best friend has ZERO diapering experience, and he kept chanting "tabs in the front, tabs in the front" in his own mind the first time he tried to change our son's diaper- of course that's not right, and when he yelled downstairs "why isnt this working? I put the tabs in the front!" we couldnt stop laughing...
ReplyDeleteI have 2 sets of twins and all we use in Pampers swaddlers/cruisers. We tried saving money by using generic or store brand diapers but they were all terrible. Huggies leaked and so did Luvs. We are major fans of the swaddlers/cruisers and are busy racking up the pampers points. I would LOVE to win some free diapers, we use a jumbo pack in around 2-3 days and my babies are only 9 months old!
ReplyDeleteWhen we are on big playdates the mommies race to see who can do changes the quickest!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest wore Huggies and we loved them, but when 2nd one came along, they leaked horribly on her and we tried Pampers and became satisfied customers!! Great giveaway - thanks for offering!

I can't say good enough things about Pampers. I am expecting my third little one this Spring that Pampers is all that I am expecting to use. Thanks for a great giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteI need diapers, all the diapers I can get!
ReplyDeleteOk a diaper duty story well Kai was just about two days old. Maybe three. It was my VERY FIRST poop (I would find out even worse comes later) but you know the classic changing the diaper baby still pooping. It was memorable for sure!
Oh and another thing I'm ALWAYS the one on diaper duty. This time it may be different if we have a boy!
I aubscribed although I'm not sure why I wasn't already...
ReplyDeleteAnd I have your button!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveawy, we need them, full stop. Thanks so much, every giveaway is great, but this one is very useful, thats for sure. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleterhubbert(at)socal.rr.com
My little darlings have a method... they will wait to #2 until RIGHT before we leave to go pretty much anywhere. I try to plan an extra ten minutes for diaper change :).
ReplyDeleteI'd be giving these to my nephew who wears Pampers always. His Mom claims that he's a "Super Soaker" boy! Pampers hold it all! Thanks.
ReplyDeletethundercloudgirl{AT}hotmail{DOT}com
This would awesome to win. Great prize. Thank you
ReplyDeleteactsm at hotmail dot com
My little boy is teething right now, and you should see some of his diapers... let's just say soupy-yucky! I hate what teething does to babies!
ReplyDeletehoney2mommy@gmail.com
I have two in diapers but I can't really think of any good stories to share. It's all a blur :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure surprised how many people have entered that don't have kids or kids in diapers though.
My diaper duties are just when I have my grandbabies over so I don't have to worry about that much. I would love this for my daughter who has 2 babies in diapers and not much money. This would be such a help.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!

I realized how clueless I was when I had my baby when I had to ask the nurse for a "diapering 101" when I was in the hospital!
ReplyDeleteOur best diapering story was when we went on vacation with a whole pack of diapers with us. Turns out they were a defective batch where the side tabs kept tearing off the diapers, making them impossible to fasten. What a disaster.
ReplyDeletecrt4book{at}yahoo{dot}com
We have one year old twin girls and we are constantly on diaper duty. And we just found out we are expecting another. SO with three babies under two this jumbo pack would come in handy (and won't last long).
ReplyDeletewe do cloth, but for traveling it is easier on everyone to do disposables...this would be great for number two due in May!
ReplyDeletemom2maria at hotmail
e cloth diaper and use pampers...I have had to write huggies on more than one occasion for leaks and got so sick of them sending a little coupon for a small bag to replace the $300 bucks worth of diapers i was buying a month for 2 kids so poo on that...I just decided to stop using those useless diapers...heck if you can call them that...so now it's cloth or pampers for us...and our 2 out of 4 kids in diapers...
ReplyDeletelilhottemomma@yahoo.com
We have been a Pampers family, too - ever since my oldest exploded through the Huggies diaper he was wearing. We're talking poo up the wazoo - I had to get in the shower myself after that one. Even though we paid more for diapers after that, it was worth every penny! (For what it's worth though, I finally tried Walgreens brand on my youngest and they work quite well.)
ReplyDeleteIf I was to win this, I would give the coupon to my SIL, I don't have a need for diapers anymore (thank goodness).
ReplyDeleteWhen my daughter was about 3 weeks old after weeks without sleep. I changed a diaper late at night at walked back to bed a few hours later when my daughter woke up for her feeding, I was really caught off guard at the fact that she was soaking wet. Her bed was soaked, her clothing was soaked. She had to have a bath, sheets changed, she was changed. I didn't hook the diaper when I had put it on, just laid her on the diaper folded it around her and then hooked her sleeper back, never taping it up. So it came apart while she was sleeping. It was like she never had a diaper on. Needless to say that after that I always double checked diapers.

I'm a mother of 3. My oldest is 6 already, but my youngest are 19 months tomorrow...twins. I've had so many diaper blunders that I don't even know where to start. I hope potty training goes well with them...wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteI love Pampers! They are the only diapers that my daughter doesn't leak out of. They can hold a lot and work great overnight.
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to you through reader.
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer Pampers - although I have to admit that once we got to size 3 we switched to Huggies since they sell them in bulk at Costco.
ReplyDeleteI committed to the P's after leaking through a few H's myself. When my son turned a year I took a detour into the cloth diapers, it's not for me. I am back to using Pampers again and I am much happier.
ReplyDeleteWell, after three kids (Youngest is eight) I thought I was a diaper pro, however, my sister in law is using cloth and I am too confused! Am I gonna have to have diaper lessons?
ReplyDeleteI have 2 kids so I have diaper experience! Diapering my daughter is alot easier than my son was. I would LOVE to win! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteskstigger@hotmail.com
I love the Pampers diapers. They don't leave marks and are pretty much leak-proof!
ReplyDeleteI love pampers also my daughter was born Sept. 10 so we have been using Pampers Swaddlers and knock on wood no diaper rash as of yet. I highly recommend them.
ReplyDeleteinman@mobap.edu
I remember when my first daughter was born and her transition poop (from meconium to regular old breastmilk poop) started churning out of her butt. I was fascinated and stared at it until it spat at me all over my face. Ah, baby poop. Only a mother could love it.
ReplyDeleteWe have always used Pampers and never had any problem. The only problem comes when you don't get the diaper on fast enough and my son walks around leaving deposits.
ReplyDeleteI have been changing diapers for almost eleven years strait now! Not to mention all of the babysitting diapers before I was a parent! I have always loved Pampers the most, and believe me, I've tried EVERY kind! Thanks so much for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWe've definitely also always used Pampers because they seem to work so much better than any others. Now with a second baby due in three weeks I'm going to be diapering two kids so any extra diapers would surely help.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely don't miss diaper duty because my son always used to wet it immediately as I was trying to close it when the cold air hit him! LOL

We are expecting our first in December, so I haven't diapered my own child, yet. While I've been pregnant with that extra sensitive nose, I was gagging when I tried to diaper a toddler. I had to recruit some help.
ReplyDeletedearandrea@sbcglobal.net
I am a neonatal nurse so diaper changing is no problem for me. My husband's father sure had a good laugh when my husband had to change a poopy diaper and had dry heaves.
ReplyDeleteWe were huge fans of Pampers Swaddlers when our daughter was a newborn. They definitely contained the "blow-outs" better than competing brands...and they seemed so soft and flexible too.
ReplyDeleteOur 2-year-old is potty-trained so we don't have a little one in diapers right at the moment, but we'll need plenty when baby #2 arrives in March. Might as well stock up now, right? :)
My son has the most sensitive skin! I have tried so many different types of diapers, wipes, creams, etc. I'd love to try these!
ReplyDeletejasonncaryn at yahoo dot com
We have tried all kinds of diapers and Pampers always win out. They are the best. I have one in pull-ups hopefully potty trained soon, one in diapers and one on the way in May. The coupon would defintely be put to good use here!
