I think that the
AminoGenesis’ Tripeptinon capsules is what I would really want and perfect for me. I am now 42 and starting to get worried about those lines and wrinkles. Anything that would slow down the process would be a godsend
I used to linger at cosmetics counters on my days off, poking in jars of goo and sniffing perfumes, contemplating lipstick colors and which mascara could best mimic false eyelashes. Of course, now that I have the permanent dark circles, ashy skin and unkempt hair of a frazzled mom, I don't spend nearly enough time on my appearance. And it shows. I'm also pushing 40, which combined with the sleep deprivation of having two kids under 5, is starting to become apparent. Wonderful. Obviously, I jumped at the chance to try out three new scientifically-developed products designed to overcome the aging process…
DreamBelly Stretch Mark Cream contains ingredients recognized for their ability to revitalize skin during pregnancy and tone skin after childbirth, including aloe vera gel, natural butters, moisturizing oils, and grapeseed extract, as well as rosehip seed oil and antioxidant-rich vitamin E. DreamBelly helps prevent stretch marks by keeping skin supple and elastic and may aid the body in regenerating strained tissues and help fade existing marks. Suggested retail price: $19.95 www.fairhavenhealth.com
AminoGenesis’ Tripeptinon capsules have been called "a facelift in a capsule." They are designed to lift, firm and strengthen facial connective tissues, giving skin the most youthful appearance possible. Tripeptinon combines three powerful anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and anti-sagging technologies along with the base formula of 17 amino acids to address surface issues as well as underlying issues such as supporting and connective tissue. Suggested retail price: $79 www.aminogenesis.com
TOKI: The Collagen You Drink reintroduces a youthful look and feel to skin with an extraordinary ingredient base that includes the moisture-rich retention of Hyaluronic acid in a mucopolysaccharide complex. The mucopolysaccharide complex replenishes skin from within, and combines with Collagen Peptide and Vitamin C to restore a more youthful quality. When modified with HAI™ Amino Acid Extract from Hijiki seaweed for enhanced absorption, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles may be dramatically reduced. Your skin tone, moisture level and resiliency are revived. In as little as 45 days of using Toki, skin texture starts to become smoother and tighter and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles may be diminished. Suggested retail price: $175 for a 30 day supply. To order, visit www.888ageless.com.
Of the three products, my favorite was the Tripeptinon capsules. My skin has been very dry lately and the amino acid oils rehydrated my face without making me feel greasy, which surprised me. I also find the whole capsule concept novel in a Star Trek kind of way. The DreamBelly was nice, too, although at this point my stretchmarks have become fairly innocuous. I can see how this cream would be a pleasant ritual during pregnancy or post-partum. It has a nice clean, almost citrus-y scent and goes on light and smooth. I only received a few packets of Toki so I wasn't able to see its long-term effects but I have to admit that plumpness and elasticity is not necessarily something I am lacking in just yet. I am super curious about the Toki Hair Color supplement which is supposed to encourage pigment production naturally. I've had some issues since childbirth with dyeing my hair (umm, try oozing blistering scalp and ears… ) so finding a way to avoid the recurring white strands in my otherwise almost-black hair would be really fabulous.
To enter and win one of each of the skin care products listed above (a $275 value!), please comment on this post and let me know which one (DreamBelly, Tripeptinon, or Toki) seems most appropriate for you and why. Be sure to check out the sponsors' sites for more information.
Entries will be accepted through April 29th and I'll pick the winner using Random.org. US/Canadian readers are eligible. Only one entry/comment per person, please.

Each item sounds wonderfully innovative. The "TOKI: The Collagen You Drink" would be the favorite pick for me. I went from being asked for an ID to buy wine (and being 33) to having wrinkling and lose skin around my eyes in just two years, because of illness. I adore the packaging, which like it or not ladies...is half the buying attraction. Thanks for the great reviews!

oh wow. how much do i need the 'Toki Hair Color Supplement.'
ReplyDeletei can dye my hair on monday and by friday the gray hairs are poppin thru already. i used to be able to dye my hair and not have to do it again until about two months later, then it was a month and now it's like a week later. it's ridiculous cause i spend alot of money on hair dyes. i tend to look for ones on sale in order to save.
it seems the older i get, the harder it is to keep my hair dyed. i'm not quite ready to go fully gray just yet. i never even knew they had anything like this out there or i would've tried this awhile ago.
thanks for the giveaway and have a lovely day.

All the products sound really great but if I had to choose one it would be the AminoGenesis Tripeptinon Capsules because I'm getting up in years and my skin tends to get alot drier than it used to and the key to keeping your skin young looking is moisture. The capsules seem pretty mess free also and portable for taking along. Thanks for the opportunity to win these products. teddyg57@q.com

ReplyDeleteThe Tripeptinon sounds best for me. I have trouble remembering to even drink water so the easisest form with the least amount of mixing/rubbing is the best. I like that it comes in a simple capsule. Who has time for rituals when you have little ones in the house?

ReplyDeleteDreamBelly Stretch Mark Cream.. I'm looking for something to help with my belly after having full term twins :)
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with skincare and it is hard to choose between the Toki and the Tripeptinon capsules, but I would probably choose the Toki because the idea of internally treating my skin appeals to me and I have been looking into supplements. vidomich(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a go around with the toki. I have been having issues with acne and I think it would help, or at least make it go away quicker! with summer right around the corner that would be a delight!! I don't see any stretch marks in my future.
ReplyDeletethanks Naomi!
Wow. These all sound very exciting if they really can do what they say they can do and it's hard to pick just one that would be most appropriate for me. However, after a process of elimination (I can hide my grey hair and stretchmarks) and your comments on the Tripeptinon, I would have to choose that one because there is no way to hide the effects of aging when it's 'written' all over my face. The 'Star Trek' aspect of being able to pop a pill to cure what ails me is also very appealing. (I was and still am a huge fan of the original Star Trek series and wished we had doctors like Bones.) After reading this post, I will definitely check out the sponsors' sites. Thanks Naomi for bringing these products to my attention and for the chance to possibly win them.
