Today I lost my oldest, closest friend and roommate. Piewackett was a stray kitten we found in the garage of my apartment complex in college. She was about three months old when she wandered into my life and she would have been 19 this summer.
She was often cantankerous, persnickety and hissy but she was also a supreme cuddler who would purr for hours on my lap or in front of my computer. PiePie also had a soft spot for the kids and even let all of Roo's friends carry her around at her birthday party last weekend. I'm going to miss my big grey girl.

Oh, what a sweet little friend and family member. It sounds like she had a long and wonderful life and that she was loved hugely! Rest peacefully sweet kitty.
ReplyDeleteShe left a big hole for the rest of the cats to fill. She also had a tremendous love for all things pork. She was a wonderful cat, and made me a happy cat Dad.
