Where's Perry?

Last week we hosted a party to celebrate the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension. I was as excited as Roo and Jasper were, being a huge fan of the series. I was looking forward to seeing all the unanswered questions wrapped up… okay, so maybe there aren't many unanswered questions, but I really do love the optimism and creativity that Phineas and Ferb represent and, of course, all of the hilarious and oddly catchy songs. And Vanessa Doofenshmirz's leather ensemble. It is one of the few kids' TV shows that I actually enjoy watching with the kids. It combines all of the spy shows I loved as a kid with, uh, platypuses. Platypi? And pandas from Seattle. Oh, geez, I do watch it a lot…

We might not have been at the fancy-schmancy Hollywood premiere but we had plenty of snacks and even VIP goody bags with lots of P&F swag!

The kids really liked the mask/puppets of Phineas, Ferb and Perry. I was a little bummed out that there was no Doofenshmirz.

I ♥ Perry.

The kids loved popsicles and decorating their puppet heads. Roo has had a crush on Ferb since she was little. She likes his English accent. Shhh! Don't tell anyone.

Jasper has discovered a new-found love of temporary tattoos. Look how tough he is! Of course, he identifies with Doof. He always likes the bad guys…

That's one dashing platypus right there!

The movie was great, as one would expect. Catchy tunes, funny dialogue, heroic platypus antics. Some of the kids' friends had not seen it before and I think I've gotten their parents all hooked! Roo's very favorite part, though? The last part where Isabella asks if they will remember what happened. You'll just have to watch it to find out…
