Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (Giveaway)

I'm really glad my kids are getting to an age where we can go to the movies together and see something that isn't animated. I still love cartoons, don't get me wrong, but it's fun to watch movies with a little more depth. 

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, which opens in theaters nationwide today, is the second installment in the film adaptations of the YA series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I love that it has all the bells and whistles of your traditional teen movie (cute actors, romance, action) but also mythological characters. I know, I know. I'm a total dork. Luckily, so are my kids.

Roo and Jasper are mildly obsessed with world mythology right now, so I know they'll be excited to see Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters on the big screen when it hits theaters on August 7th. We all liked the first movie well enough but this trailer looks even better. And, hello Nathan Fillion…
