Dr. Doofenshmirtz on Social Media

Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, the erstwhile evil genius from Phineas and Ferb, has taken social media on in his own inimitable style. His weekly YouTube web-series, Doof Daily, takes aim at the most important things ripped from today's headlines. Like goats yelling like humans yelling like goats.

We're huge Phineas and Ferb fans in this household. Jasper is especially entranced by Doof's eye-rolling daughter, Vanessa, and Roo feels a special bond with the boys' micromanaging/romance-happy big sister Candice. I was especially moved by Doof's loss of his best friend, Balloony. Pure pathos.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz is voiced by Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire. The show airs Friday nights at 9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel, and also stars Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, Mitchel Musso as Jeremy, Caroline Rhea as mom Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Richard O'Brien as dad Lawrence Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner as Isabella and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Major Monogram. "Phineas and Ferb" is a production of Disney Television Animation.
