Diane Birch

Mom It Forward is hosting a #GNO party on Twitter right now to celebrate the release of Bible Belt, the debut album from singer-songwriter Diane Birch.

Diane has lived all over the world and wanted to use her record release as an opportunity to help others. Along with her label, S-Curve Records, Diane is introducing an innovative word-of-mouth marketing campaign that allows individuals to Discover & Donate. By clicking on a simple widget, your readers can "discover" and listen to tracks from Bible Belt and purchase the album. One of six participating charities (Autism Speaks, Keep a Child Alive, March of Dimes, Share Our Strength, SOS Children's Villages, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure) will receive $1 per album purchased. (Mine is posted on the sidebar. Share Our Strength will receive the donations from purchases made via my widget.)

To learn how you can participate in the Discover & Donate program, click here. Bonus: the person who raises the most money for charity through their widget by June 23, 2009, will win a private performance by Diane Birch in his or her hometown!

Thanks to One2One for introducing me to Diane Birch and her lovely music.

  1. I think she has a rather nice voice, she kind of reminds me of Norah Jones.
    Great marketing idea!
