Looking Better, Longer

I recently received the Obagi Condition and Enhance System to review. It's a skin care regimen intended to prolong and optimize the effects of dermalogical cosmetic procedures like Botox or Restylane, but it's also good for evening out and enhancing regular skin texture and clarity. I have never had any of the procedures that Obagi is meant for although I am curious about microdermabrasion.

At 38, I thankfully don't have too many wrinkles or dark spots but my skin can sometimes seem ashy. I must admit that this is a regimen and, as such, involves more steps than I really like to deal with on a daily basis. I'm a wash and go kind of gal, so the Obagi six-step system was kind of a chore for me. Still, after using the Obagi Condition and Enhance System for about a week, I can definitely see some improvement in the overall brightness of my skin tone and it is very soft and smooth, too. I did have some initial flaking as my skin was shedding its old dry cells to regenerate new ones, but that is part of the process. (I wish they included some eye cream to deal with those saggy baggy things under my eyes!)

If you have undergone cosmetic procedures, the Obagi Condition and Enhance System is a great way to protect your investment in your skin. Likewise, if you are not quite ready to try dermalogical procedures but feel your skin could use some oomph, this could be a great product for you. Just as long as you are ready to commit to the program! Obagi is a prescription-strength skincare system and is only dispensed through licensed skincare professionals, so ask your skincare professional (dermatologist or plastic surgeon) for more information.
