Roo on World Peace

Roo and Jasper have recently developed an entrepreneurial streak, selling their drawings on the stoop outside their dad's last opening and at his stall at the Farm & Art Market. They've been making a tidy sum at $1 per drawing but Roo scored an actual commission and was supposed to show her interpretation of world peace. The woman who bought it videotaped this interview:

I love that she included her sketch. And that her nose is totally yellow because she had her face painted as a red, white and blue eagle. Kids are so awesome sometimes.

  1. $1 per drawing - What a clever idea!

My 5-year-old is especially into art and creates new paintings and sketches daily.

  2. Her smile at the end was so full of pride. Warmed my heart.

  3. Oh my god, that's so sweet! I never would have guessed that she was kind of shy (though it's probably odd for her being interviewed by someone).

Great idea for an entrepreneurship outside of the typical lemonade stand.
